This Privacy Notice explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by Metrical, Inc. and its subsidiaries, affiliates, successors or assigns (collectively, “Metrical” or “we”). This Privacy Notice addresses the information we collect when you use our website and/or Metrical’s products and services that measure customer experience, satisfaction and product/brand loyalty (collectively, the “Services”).
Other than access to our general website, we provide our Services directly to our business customers (“Business Customers”). If you are an end user of one of our Business Customer, then this Privacy Notice does not apply to the services that the Business Customer provides. Our Business Customers’ respective privacy policies will govern the collection, use and disclosure of the personal information that they may respectively collect, if any. If you are an end user of one of our Business Customers, we encourage you to read its privacy notice.
As described below, we do not sell, share or rent any personal information of our end users to third parties, for their marketing purposes or otherwise. We may modify this Privacy Notice from time-to-time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the notice and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Notice whenever you access the Services to stay informed about our information practices.
WHAT DATA WE COLLECT AND HOW WE COLLECT IT
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information provided directly to us. For example, we collect information when you use our Services (including, registering to use our Services) or otherwise interact with our Services. The types of information we may collect include your name, company name, email address and phone number and any other information you choose to provide (“Customer Account Data”).
Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Services
When you access or use our Services, we use common information-gathering tools to automatically collect the following categories of information:
Log Information: We log information about your use of the Services, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.
Device Information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and network information.
Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to your computer or mobile device. Analytics software. We use analytics software so that we can improve the functionality of our Services. Standing alone, the analytical information we collect does not include personal information and we do not link it to any.

- In response to a request for information, if we believe disclosure is in accordance with any applicable law, regulation or legal process or as otherwise required by any applicable law, rule or regulation;
- If we believe your actions are inconsistent with the spirit or language of our customer agreements or policies, and we need to protect the rights, property and safety of Metrical or others;
- In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company; and
- With your consent or at your direction, including if we notify you through our Services that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information.
We do not sell, share or rent any personal information of our end users to third parties, for their marketing purposes or otherwise. We may share with third-parties non-personal information, aggregated information or other anonymized information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
HOW WE STORE DATA WE COLLECT
Metrical is based in the United States and to provide the Services we collect, process, store and transfer information in the U.S.
Metrical takes commercially reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Metrical uses industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of personally identifiable information.
We retain in our files and databases that include personally identifiable information (even after you cancel your account) for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations and for our internal business purposes. We may retain non-personally identifiable information without any specific term limitation.
DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS AND OPTIONS
Metrical collects personal data when there is a legitimate business basis, a legal basis and/or you provide consent for us to do so. For example, and as explained above, we collect Customer Account Data in order to provide our Services. Where applicable law requires (and subject to any relevant exceptions under law), you may have the right to access, update, change or delete personal information.
Metrical offers its Services to Business Customers in the United States. EU and Switzerland residents have the right to access personal data about them, and in some cases to limit use and disclosure of their Personal Data. As disclosed herein, Metrical does not knowingly collect information from such residents. Nonetheless, if you would like to request access to, deletions of, alterations to your personal data, or you have questions about your personal information that we maintain and/or have processed on behalf of a Business Customer and have under our custody and control, please contact us at [email protected] and provide us your name and contact information.
If you are an end user of one of our Business Customers, please contact that Business Customer directly with service requests and changes to your information.
SPECIFIC OPTIONS
Account Information
You may update, correct or delete information about you at any time by emailing us at [email protected]. If you wish to delete or deactivate your account, please email us at [email protected]. However, as noted above, we may retain certain information as required by law or for our legitimate business purposes. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time.
Cookies
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of our Services.
Promotional Communications
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from Metrical by following the instructions in those emails or by emailing us at: [email protected]. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
Do Not Track
Do Not Track (or DNT) is a preference you can set in your browser to let websites you visit know that you do not want websites to collect certain information about you. Metrical supports the Do Not Track browser setting.
